Creative concept to reimagine the key art and title treatment for The King's Speech on Disney+.
The design aims to immediately portray the theme of speech, by renaming the title to The Sovereign's Stammer and housing the lead characters within speech marks. It also aims to portray both Colin Firth as King George VI and Geoffrey Rush as Lionel Logue with equal weighting.
The King’s Speech is based on the true story of King George VI, who has a stammer and seeks the help of language therapist Lionel Logue. They work together to help the King make his first wartime radio broadcast upon Britain's declaration of war on Germany in 1939.
